2010 Arizona Smallbore Rifle Silhouette State Championships

The State Championship here is getting closer and we have the entry forms made.
If anyone is interested....
It is held at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
The dates are October 2 & 3.
It will be a 60 shot match on each day. With daily awards.
The State Championship will be based on an aggrigate of the 120 shots.
All ties will be decided with favoritism toward the Arizona shooters. (not really but I had to throw that in...)
Standard Rifle starts at 9:00 each day and will be followed by the Hunter Rifle Match after a lunch break.
All of the information is in the entry form which can be downloaded from my website. I have mailed a bunch out and have just a few more to go on those we have on the mailing list.
The more the merrier.

You mean I'll have to drive north this year and not south? I hope it won't be too cold for me. HA!!!!!

Bob, if you are a real tough guy you could walk to the range from the airport. Just kidding. Hope you can make it.

Bob, If you really wanted to Man Up, get an I love Az t-shirt with the SB1070 inside the heart, and then walk to the range from the airport! A word of caution, I wouldn't be carrying any kind of cheap ammo on this venture, and make every shot count!

LOL... Yes I bet that would raise the heckels of a few wouldn't it. Think I'd better take the big gun if I was going to do that though

I'm told that there isn't a vendor selling grub for lunch at the range. Any recomendations for bringing something in via the cooler for a guy flying in from Seattle? I still miss the Sonoran Hot Dogs from last year at Tucson. I can see a blood sugar drop with 120 shots in one day so just checkin!

There are places nearby.
There is a generic hot-dog vender at the main range if all else fails.
There is an in-N-out burger,
Taco Bell,
McDonalds,
Subway,
All a couple of miles east of the range (immediately East of the interstate 17 Highway)
There is typically at least a 45 minute break.
