I have been using sk standard plus and leaving a few rams at some of the clubs i shoot at.Is anyone using or have tried the sk high velocity stuff? How well does it shoot?Nothing worse than having a good day going and dinging a few rams.
Thanks Mike

I assume your talking Cowboy animals and not the Smallbore ones, correct? On a recommendation/suggestion I purchased a few bricks of the SK HV to try in my Cowboy SB rifle and it works well. A cheaper alternative is the Federal HV that I tried and it works equally as well.

Mike, I tried it also. It shot real well in my guns. I would only use it for the rams, and only at the clubs you are refering to. I liked the idea of having a higher velosity round with the same lube as my CPT loads. By the way I got the HP version as it has a higher advertised velosity. Al

I hope you are not talking about small bore. There are times we shoot, I think they are 1 inch thick animals at TRC when there is lots of wind and nocking them down isn't a real bad problem with ammo leaving the rifle at 1085 fps. Some are lost but not many.
