Eighteen souls braved the mud and light rain to do battle against the metal animals. The white targets looked huge against the wet earth berms. Hits were easy to spot and there were many hits. All were thankful the snow line stayed up in the Wind River Mts, but the temp didnt reach 40 until near match end on Sunday. Several new State records were established. David Bonner, Aurora, CO boosted the high power 40 shot record to 34 and the 2x40 agg to 65. Tyler Kamp, Daniel, WY pushed the SB hunting rifle 2x40 agg to 73. A total of 16 'tens-in-a-row' were fired with SB rifles and in HP Loren Peter, Vancouver, WA toppled all the HP hunting pigs. There were 13 nines fired with the high power rifles.
David Bonner is the 2010 4 Gun Champion, keeping the title he won in 2009. He posted 262/320. [81.9%] His scores took him into master HP. Bob McAlice shot himself into master SB hunting. Jim Tobin also moved up, earning AAA in HP hunting. Loren Peter is the senior 4 Gun Champ.
