How to adjust Beeman S950 trigger?

Post by Jason »

Anyone got some advice on how to adjust a Beeman S950 trigger? I picked up this one for general plinking and trigger pulling practice, as well as lightweight pest extermination. The travel on the second stage is really long, though. It has one large screw behind the trigger and two small set screws in the rear of the trigger itself. The manual doesn't detail how to adjust the trigger. My guess is that the big screw is pull weight adjustment and the little two are engagement and maybe overtravel. I'm pretty happy with the trigger except for the really long engagement (creep) of the second stage. Anyone got a manual or can tell me what each of the screws adjust?

Thanks,

Jason

I wish it had a Rekord trigger. That doesn't look like the trigger on this rifle. I think you have to go to a higher-end rifle to get a Rekord. I'll try to take a picture of it tonight after work if I have time. Thanks!
