uhmmm all i can say is wow...... the whittington center? first class, best i have ever been to and maybe ever will go to... the sheer size and number of ranges really blew my mind, i am definatly going back the next time its in raton... The People? some of the nicest and most helpful group of shooters i have ever been around, well everyone i meet at shoots are really helpful, (except service rifle guys, thats a different story...) There are alot of really good shooters out there, Augustine, cathy, laura, joy, that group from colorado, McCalice, donner and the others, mark pharr, kitty, derek, and of course kolby, tyler, elizabeth, Pj, that littler boy bryson from montana, bill motl, larry, Pat, and so many others i cant remember names... i would really like to thank innocent for helping me try to find some juniors that i can make a team with, we werent too succesful but i still got one put together, mary, it was great meeting you and all the others, and thank you for all of the addvice and commradery. Bob, i would really like to sit down with you one day and talk about gunsmithing, mary, again, would like some more tips and addvice for my shooting, Pat, would like to get to winne and shoot that awsome anschutz of yours, ill trade you my 10/22 for it.... It was great seeing the 3 or 4 groups from mexico, they are all real good shooters, would like to thank all the ladies and staff there at raton for making it possible to have a great match, there could have been a few improvments but i still had plenty of fun there. the ranges were awsome and i couldnt have asked for better conditions for smallbore. Highpower was a real challenge, almost 7 mins of wind for rams one string during the hunter rifle 60 shot match. it was great to shoot next to mary during your first highpower match. everyone had so much advice about equipment, but few had good advice about techinque, again thanx mary.

i was happy to win a few awards and it was really great seeing how all the other shooters did real well and to whatch the awards,

again, thanks to everyone and i hope to make it back to nationals soon, Pe Ell is a definate next year, and hopefully winne too...

Kyler,
The pleasure of meeting you and your father was all mine. My respect for your father for raising such a fine young man is extremely high. Pat's rifle is nice but it has a backwards stock on it!! Thus the cause of his rutting when he is on a later relay with all the brass under his feet. I enjoyed shooting next to you and your father in HP, such a different sport but many similar problems to smallbore, just magnified. I have lot to learn about the spotting, and wind callign at the longer distances, especailly watching for the rocks under the rams! Seems like your father and I got some at the same time with ringers and mine. I look forward to seeing you at PeEll and Winny too. Study hard and I'll think of you when I'm doing my physics homework!

Innocent Mary
