Seems I have a problem with my scope. The knurled portion of the AO ring turns independently from the ring indicating yardage. Quick fix? Something I've done wrong? Is this scope headed out for repair?

Thanks

Mike

If this is an unmodified Leupold (it sounds like the VXIII 6.5-20x40), send them an email, box it up, and send it back. They let me know yesterday they were fixing a spotting scope I dropped! I confessed my sins and they're fixing it anyway, so I'm pretty sure they'll fix your scope.

I had one of mine do that and they fixed it right up.

Yes, I've had several do this as well.

Generally I use some tape and mark the appropriate distances focused for my eyes.
