Carnuba wax

Post by Travelor »

A good friend of mine has some old Eley Tennex and some very fine high end Anschutz target rifles. He also has a bench rest range from is back porch out to 40 yards and is an excellant shot.

The old Tennex had the lube dried and was shooting pretty poorly. He coated the bullets with carnuba wax by wiping it on the bullets with his fingers and letting it dry. The groups went right back to what Tennex should be doing.

I'll ask him what the brand name and source and report back.
