In reviewing other posts, it appears that replacement of the butt plate with a recoil pad is considered legal for cowboy. However, I don't want to permanently alter my Henry GB. Is is legal to adhere a thin rubber pad to the existing butt plate? Is a slip-on pad legal? Thanks, DKG
