All, The Texas State Highpower match is being planned for April 4 and 5 in New Braunfels. If you would like to have an entry form or match description please email me or post here. Summary is as follows:

Course of Fire:
Course of fire will consist of 15 shots at chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams for a total of 60 shots at the prescribed distances fired in five shot strings with a time limit of 2-1/2 minutes per string. Each competitor will score for the previous competitor unless special squadding is arranged. Any competitor knocking down ten straight animals will be allowed to continue firing at the conclusion of the match for long run records.
Tournament Schedule:
Friday April 3rd : 12:00 pm. - Sunset = Practice
Saturday April 4th: 7:30 am.

Your description of the Texas championships is almost identical to that of the Arizona state championships. I think the only diffenences are the Governor's awards and the Boy Scouts. Dates, format and awards are the same.
