Winter Silhouette Postal 2008 - 2009

Hosted by the Lander Valley Sportsmans Assn.

LOCATION: At your 50 ft. .22 rimfire range.

ELIGIBILITY: All shooters willing to get some shooting over the winter while keeping the eye-hand coordination in shape for the outdoors silhouette season. All shooting is done on the honor system. Get your shooters together and order targets early for them all.

FEES: $20.00 per shooter for 10 certified targets that will be sent to you.

SCHEDULE: Fired scores need to be returned on or before April 1st, 2009. The targets will be scored as per instructions on the TQ-14 targets. Only results are to be sent into LVSA. The targets must be kept until April 15th and may be called in for spot checking. All firing to be done from the offhand position. Maximum rifle weight 10lbs. 2oz. as fired, any safe trigger, no shooting coats, no hooked butt plates.

TARGETS: Will be NRA official TQ-14 silhouette, 2 shots per animal using 2 1/2 minutes per string.

CLASSIFICATIONS: Shooters will be given a class on average of the first four targets using the smallbore silhouette rule 19.15[d] and 19.17.1 reclassification.

AWARDS: Champion trophy to the aggregate winner , class trophies awarded per 5 in a class. Ties broken by reverse animal count {T-R-C-P} or duplicate trophies awarded.

GENERAL: This match will use the NRA smallbore silhouette rifles rules where possible but allows you to shoot indoors or outdoors at a 50 foot scaled target. Just think of all the wear and tear you'll save on not having to ajust the sights between animals! Scores need to be reported as # of C, # of P, # of T, # of R in order to break ties.
