More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Thank you very much Joaquin, you missed a good match, the weather was great for at least five days of the competition, we had a bit of wind (not like Phoenix or El Paso) the first day of HP. Hope you can come with us next time.

Regarding Agustin records, yesterday he tied his own individual record with 39 missing the first ram after having hit 30 straight targets then on the Hunting match he hit all chickens and pigs got 8 turkeys and all the rams to tie the current record 38 and he broke his own aggregate record by one point.

He decided to use the Hunting rifle for both matches because it fit him better than the other one. The rifle has the same SS Rem 700 action I used in 1997 to win the NRA HP Hunting rifle class, has a 26" #5 Shilen barrel it is chambered in 260 Rem, a Mark Pharr stock, Jewel trigger and a 24X BR Leupold scope. We used Lapua brass, VV powders and 123, 139 and 144gr Lapua bullets. For the first time in Ridgway Agustin and I did not ring any rams.

Here is a link to the Ridgway newspaper for more detailed results of some of the matches. By the way this is the only place that I have been where every day the local newspaper covered the matches.
