Some of you may be interested in this type of stuff and some of you may not.
This was a job I did for Jared Perry, a long tim ago. It's a 7mm BR.
Here is the link.

I would have to say that this is the most informative and interesting posting I have seen on this site in a long, long, long time, excepting, of course, the wise comments made by Imas, Tello and a few others!!!
Have monitored this site for some time I never felt a need to post (although I had to bite my tongue (fingers) a few times). However, the technical nature and interesting topic of Marvin's post was just too much to resist.
I just hope the attraction of the seemingly drunken, meaningless and bizarre topics in the "behind the berm" backroom don't garner more attention and interest than this one.
Thanks Marvin!

Nice work! Now that's the kinda post that lets a guy charge whatever he wants for rifle work cause that is so far above me and my dremel.

Mr. Jim T. Thank you for your kind words, Sir.
But, as a very dear freind of mine said just the other day....You can wish in one hand and poop in another... Just wait and see which one fills up first.
Please remember, this place is dominated by the good old boys from "F Troop" If you aint in with them, you're point of view does not matter.
Kinda sad where we are now. M.

Marv,
I put the D pins in the chuck and hold the barrel by hand. Works alot better. You really need to invest in some better tools and consider a basic metalworking class at the local high school.
If you want, for a small fee, I will have you as a guest in my machines shop and show you the ropes. Also, that's little bit of chicken scratch you call bases and rings, really? I mean I can't even turn on my Haas VF 6PLSS CNC machine for less than $500, and you're selling those for under $200? And I thought BKL were cheap. You must like working for $1.35 an hour. If you're good at mowin grass, I'll pay ya $4.00 an hour to work on my lawn.

Hi Metalhead, I would love to have a Anschutz two stage on my highpower gun, do you have a price list for such conversions?

The ttp cartridge is interesting how much powder and a velocity gain are you seeing versus a standard 7mm Br cartridge.

Haven't seen you at the matches in Tucson lately, Stronghold. We're shooting on the 19th. I hope you can make it. You too, Mr. Grentz.

I am cooling my heels in Montana this summer and will be back to shoot with you in Oct. There are more prarrie dogs about a mile down the road than a person could shoot in 100 years. I have been killing some and scaring many.
You would think the jar head would be able to make it to a match this year.

Have fun shooting dogs, Jerry! I guess Bill's busy working on his new home...
You'll miss an interesting shoot... It's already nice and toasty over here. We're expected to hit 110 this weekend. Not too bad, if you consider Phoenix is usually 6 or 7 degrees toastier...
Later,

It was just about that hot when I left after the NRA convention. Either you guys are tough or something else. After meeting all of you, I'm going with the something else. Have a good shoot this summer and save me a place on the line this fall. I'll be there right after the Colo State SB in Sept.
