More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Norma 6.5x55 Ammo and Bullets

Post by Quonset Hut »

Perhaps 10 years ago, Graf and Sons had Norma at crazy prices from a distributor liquidation. I have a Swedish Mauser from Century in a plastic hunter stock and barrel cut to 22". It seemed to work fine for Silhouette.

I've still got over 300 rounds of Diamond line Falt with the 130gn VLD Moly bullet. http://www.norma.cc/sortimentskytte.asp ... 4lt&Lang=2

I also have 1000 bullets on the non-moly version of this which Norma uses in their Golden Target line. I've never tried a load with this. Then there is 400 of the 139gn Norma FMJ which I've never loaded either. My normal Silhouette load was 37.0 of 4064 and a 140 Sierra MK in Lapua brass. This was worked up before Sierra had the 142.

Any loads, starting or otherwise, for the 130 VLD or the 139?

Try the same load you used for the 140. That should be a good starting place.
