Come one, come all. Old Fort Gun Club in Fort Smith Arkansas is coming out of winter hibernation and kicking off the 2008 smallbore silhouette season Saturday March 8th. Range gates open at 8:00 for sight in and the match will begin at 10:00. Hunter and Standard are both shot along with the ever popular 1/2 scale fun match. Still waiting to be claimed is the $50.00 gift certificate from the Tackle Box in Fort Smith, the bounty for shooting a perfect 40 in the 1/2 scale match.
The road to the range has been vastly improved from last season and is smooth enough for momma's mini van or your new Jaguar.
Sooo come on out and shoot with the Kitty, Blaubear, Unkmike and all the usual suspects. If you need directions pm me.

Really, great you guys can shoot already. We still have snow on the ground and cold weather here. Our first regular matches here are not scheduled till mid May and end the end of August, gotta love the Norht country... Ya right

Doggone Blaubear, making all these rules......Was sunny and mid 70's yesterday, cloudy and 70 right now, but windy and snow and ice expected tomorrow.....This time of year the weather is extremely unpredictable, kind of like Bob259 and me.....

I know I can say and speak for Kitty here as well, that you have deeply hurt both our feelings.
All we try to do is help and this is what we get....

You mean there are places where people stop shooting silhouette seasonally?
Man, it must suck to live there.

You guys are dangerous by yourselves and in proximity there's probability of a runaway bling reaction with uncontrolled powder coat, fluting, fades, polish and marbling. We'd never recognize our rifles in the racks! Far too chaotic.

You mean there are places where people stop shooting silhouette seasonally? Razz
Man, it must suck to live there. Twisted Evil
Yeah, but it makes up appreciate the 100 degree heat and 100 percent humidity all the more.

Why do you think I can't wait to move to AZ
Was going to move to Arkansas till BlauBear banned me and Kitty from being anywhere within 500 miles of each other....

This isn't really shooting-related, but when I saw it I thought of our very own "Kitty" and had to post the link...

I can see why the kitty would be banned.

Banned is a little strong. We just keep him away from AK's and all things full automatic 'cause that look on his face is just plain disturbing.
