How old is your scope? IIRC, there was a change in the threads along the way, and the adapters for the 'older' scopes don't fit the current ones. The 50ft adapter I have supposedly fits the 2004+ scopes.

My scopes are the older pre 2004 but I planned on machining an adapter for it.
