I want to buy a Tikka T1x that's legal as a silhouette hunter rifle. I'd like to get one with a 20" barrel. Does anyone know for sure if the T1X MTR has a tapered barrel? It looks like the MTR (the only one I can find in stock) has a barrel that's parallel for the front half but larger at the breech end. Does this count as a tapered barrel?

It does taper and you'll have no problem running it in Hunter (I have).
Get your hands on some of the flush 5rd mags since they make for an easier hold.
