This is the original trigger that was in a new Christensen Ranger 22lr Rifle when I bought it. This is a no-creep trigger and the crisp feel you get when you pull the trigger is what these triggers are all about.

I couldn't get it close 2.5 lbs best was 3.0.They probably use this trigger in new guns for liability reasons.
I bought the Special trigger 1.0 - 3.5 lbs and could not get this less than 2.0 lbs on this gun. The firing pin puts a substantial mark on the primer and I suspect the heavy spring in the bolt/firing pin is affecting the release force on the shear. Haven't had the bolt apart yet but this what I think needs to be adjusted.

Good for a plinking rifle that you want a little more precision.
