SOLD -1894 JM Marlin 24" Cowboy Ltd. Rifle 44mag for sale

Post by TheBugFather »

Normal wear and tear, probably less than 800 rounds, Lever action Silhouette ready.

I have decided to include the Redding Pro Competition reloading dies and 500+ brass and various bullets in the below prices. More info and pictures to follow, about a $600+ value.

Ballard cut rifling, sub 2 lb trigger and smoothest cycling action I have felt.

Zander's front sight and Redfield 70 with target knobs.

I can replace the front sight with a Lyman 17a, at the buyers choice.

I was using subsonic 240gr hornady xtp's, to win a state 200 meter Rifle caliber match, but I'm only a AA shooter at best.

I will clean up the rifle and take better pictures, but anxious to get this sold.

Asking for $1,650 with Redfield Sight.

$50 insured shipping to your FFL, in original box, double boxed.

I believe it was never fired before me.

Thanks for looking, Dennis Ostler

Deal fell through.

I am going to re-list this.

this was my list of things going with the sale:

500 Starline brass in new MTM 50 Ammo holders
100 Matt's Bullets 280gr RF Gas check bullets
500 Accura 240gr heavy copper plated HP bullets
650 X-treme 240gr RNFP copper plated bullets
100 Hornady 300gr XTP HP bullets
68 Hornady 240gr XTP HP bullets

Reloading dies:

Redding dual ring carbide FL sizing die
Redding Micro adjust Competition seating die
Redding Titanium Nitride competition expander die.
Lee factory crimp die.

These dies are about the best you can get, $300+ value, the sizing die is designed to just barely size the body and the top ringing sizes just the neck of the case for the best bullet hold. The seater die is the best I have ever used.
