Prescription Shooting Glasses

Post by RickF »

I would like to buy a set for lever action shooting. I won’t use them for scoped rifle, just lever with an aperture rear and sourdough front. My rifles wear decades old steel sights so I want to go with the shooting glasses.

With my single-vision prescription in hand (no bifocals wanted) what are the best prescription-lens shooting glasses to buy? Is there a preferred place to source them? Thanks.

+1 for Decot HyWyd. Not super cheap but I should have bought mine sooner for sure. I shoot more than one discipline and they are versatile.

The versatility of the Decot are a major plus.
Last year the prescription in my right eye changed a little bit, so instead of having to have 2 sets of lenses made in the colors I use most they simply made me the colors for the new rx on my shooting eye.
