UPS policy about shipping firearms .
Hello All ,
I just had a genuinely perplexing experience at UPS .
According to every source I could talk to -
UPS requires an FFL to have an account to ship
ANYTHING related to guns .
This includes screws … stocks … you name it !
Here is the real kicker :
You must have an Active FFL to do so !
You heard me correct .
Please someone - anyone tell me I am mistaken !
Please …

I had a slightly different experience. Trying to ship an air pistol to Pilkguns, UPS would not honor my address label. They told me I had to login to the UPS site, create an account, and print my own shipping label at home. I could then bring it in with the package and they would ship it. This was on an airgun, didn't ask about powder guns. I'm assuming I could print a paper label and they would cover it with clear tape.

Read the full policy here:Shipments containing Firearm Products are accepted for transportation only from shippers who are federally licensed and have an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

I don't hold any UPS stock so I didn't get to vote for their board of directors.
This is just a company making their own decisions on how they want to run their business. We are only free to "vote" with our dollars.

“WASHINGTON D.C.- Democrats are making yet another step towards corporate gun control by requesting that shipping giants cease shipping firearms.
U.S Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Ct), Cory Booker (D-NJ), Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Edward Markey (D-MA), and Christopher Murphy (D-Ct) signed a letter that was sent to at least 27 carriers across the United States and Canada. The letter said:
“We are concerned that lax shipping security measures are contributing to the epidemic of gun violence in in this country by allowing criminals to use stolen firearms to commit crimes.””
