39A front sight

I have a 39A, and Lyman 66MC sights to mount. What would be a good height for front sight, and what type? I guess 17A is popular? Thanks

Yes most folks use Lyman 17A. The 0.404" high model 17AHB seems to work everywhere. I have the 0.494" version but it obviously requires a little more elevation on the rear sight.

A friend shooter of mine sells a lot of vintage sights. So I emailed him about 17AHB.
Seems distributors are sold out for some reason.

I have the ultra tall 0.85 inch version for sale if you want to go even higher
