Jim Goodnight just posted on Facebook that Lee O’Neil passed away this morning. He had heart surgery yesterday.

He was a Good and Kind man, I will miss him greatly.

I have a number of photos of him over the years.

I understood that he passed away from a heart attack, while having surgery for his knee.

I hate to hear that. He was a great guy and a great shooter.

S
May he rest in HIS peace. Lee has the only 40/40 fired in WY. Happened at the Jackson Hole Gun club on a frosty morning in the second 40 of the 3x40 program. this was in SB.
Close only counts with grenades and horseshoes.

Sad to learn of Lee's passing...saw him many times over the years of shooting at some of the Nationals and also at matches held at Ben Avery. I remember his always jovial spirit and his obvious great skill as a marksman! Condolences to his family and friends and May He Rest In Peace!
