John has been hospitalized with congestive heart failure and pneumonia. He is on a respirator, sedated and will stay that way for a couple of days. His condition is improving, and he is breathing better on his own some of the time. His wife, one daughter and son are with him now, and I will check on him early this evening.
It has been common knowledge for some time that John's health was rough, so this was predictable even though it is a shock. Everyone in the OFGC Silhouette program is considering what we can do individually and collectively to support a man that is so integral to our program. As a group, we shot well in Benton, and individually two of our shooter finished on top, something John is justifiably proud.
I will post more information as it becomes available.
