I shipped a pistol to the manufacturer for warranty repair. Does it ship back directly to me?

Yes it should, since it is not changing ownership.

Federally, yes they can and often do.

I often marvel at knowing the number of firearms floating around the back of each Fedex/UPS/Postal truck each day and knowing that, for whatever reason, they don't create the chaos and death, so much feared, as they crisscross the towns and cities where we all live. Utterly amazing.
