Shooters,
After a long battle with cancer, Mr. Daniel Healey passed from this earthly life August 21, 2007. A memorial service will be held at Lake Lawn in Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday, September 1, 2007 between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 PM. The exact time will be posted later.
In lieu of flowers, Linda wishes to have Memorial gifts in Dan's Memory. The family will decide where to send memorial gifts as a fitting tribute for Dan.
Dan was a great guy and competitor. I never heard a bad word from him regarding anyone or anything. He was the consummate gentleman and will be greatly missed in our small group of competitors. Dan was a faithful competitor in the Southern Nationals and had attended ALL of these competitions until this year when his health prevented him from coming. Dan was also the first AAA Trifecta Champion.
Please keep Linda and the family in you thoughts and prayers.
I will post any new updates regarding the time of the Memorial Service for Dan and where to send Memorial gifts.
Sincerely,
David G. McLemore
