I am having difficulty getting a refund from NRA / RIDGWAY silhouette ...
I sent in my entrance card and paid 100.00 cash ...
I had to go home BEFORE the start of those nationals ...
NOW the NRA says ... NO REFUND !

What would YOU do ???

What did the entry form say? Other matches I've been to (not silhouette) says no refunds after a certain date.

The NRA seems to be very good at accepting money. I am not sure they are as good at returning money. I suspect there was a clause in the entry form saying all entry fees are non-refundable.

I am now reading from the NRA official program for the national championships 2017 ...
ENTRY FEES :
FEES will be returned in full if cancelation is received before the championship closing date .
Anyone cancelling after that closing date will be charged a 5.00 handling fee ...
THIS is from page 5 ...
NOW the NRA says NONE !
What is wrong with this picture ???

I know in the past that was never a problem maybe it's because they now are having a host club handle everything. If this is a new change to past policy and what is written I'm sure no one will want to send advance payments in the future.

I have NOW received word that the refund is coming BECAUSE RIDGWAY is handling this matter and NOT the NRA ...
This is good news indeed to those who like RIDGWAY and should encourage other clubs to handle the event in like fashion in the future !

Unfortunately the NRA employees are possibly given the WRONG INFO and WE get the brunt of that ...
