We had our regular monthly match today. The weather was perfect for a change, hot with no wind. This is rare on the high plains. Our peak wind "gust" hit 4.5 mph. However, standing out in the hot sun with no firing line cover takes it's toll on the body. Overall attendance was low at only ten shooters. Two of them were IHMSA handgun shooters. Match winner with the heavy gun was Jerry R. with 24x40. Hunter gun match winner was Bob M. with 28x40. Handgun shooter Bill S. posted a 37x40 score.

Nice pictures Bob, you guys are fortunate to have such a great place.
We shot HP at West End in San Bernardino, CA today it was the third match of the year all the others were canceled due to high wind conditions. We had eight shooters which is about normal turn out for us. The range has capabilities for twenty targets of each kind but lately they have only been using ten which makes for a long day if we had to reset them up after every relay. Most of the time we have two relays and the second relay shoots targets left standing by the first relay if we do not want to go forward to reset them, works out OK for the most part. High score was my 29 shot with a 260 Rem on a Mark Pharr stock Hunting rifle. After HP targets are put away we shoot two SB matches. My back was kind of sore by the end of the second SB match but I loved it. If I remember I will include pictures next month for you to see.
