Wow, that is a very nice rifle! I wish I was in a position to buy that for myself. Alas, I am just a poor schmuck.

At a very fair price. That shouldn't have any issues selling.

The barreled actions are up to $1295 now. You would think with the dollar being so strong against the EU that it would be a bit less. Buy now or pay more later is the rule of the day I suppose.

Well then! I've never cared much to pay attention to Anschutz rifles, but that one is cheaper than most I've seen like that so I assumed it was similar.

how much are wooster stocks? I was thinking a McMillan lightweight silhouette stock anyway if I go 1712 barreled action. $1300 + ffl + shipping. Then you would want to get the stock bedded once you found the one you like. I like the McMillan lightweight, but the Wooster would be like my Roberston RT... ish.
Then there is also a Merrier Stock at about $350 to start. So, if this one does not work out for the wife, then I will just build her a new one from scratch after I sell the 1416.
That's the plan, but who knows how it will go.

I didn't realize the actions were that expensive. I think the Wooster stock is around $400, depending how fancy you think you want it.

Fancy as in Paint or features?
$400 is not bad. McMillan's are about $600.

If I am not mistaken, Jerry shoots a carbon fiber Wooster stock. Jerry obviously likes a fancy rifle with lightweight composite stocks.

The rifle advertisement appears to be closed now.
I wonder who was successful in buying that rifle?
Unfortunately it was not me!

Yeah, someone posted payment this weekend. Looks like I get to keep the 1416. I will work on building Erin her rifle with the same type stock and 1712 action.
no tears shed here.
Right now I am also working on raising funds for Waverly's Precision Rifle gear.

Waverly's gear won't be cheap. What about the 1416 does Erin not like?

I'm making sure Erin has the option to shoot Smallbore or Hunter.
