If you attended the competitors meeting last week at the 2016 Lever Gun Nationals, you heard Lee O'Neil talk about the use of aperture front sights in competition. He has experimented with them the past year and says they are viable. This topic was brought up last year at the silhouette committee meeting. Lee said it is likely they will be approved for 2017. This should help some shooters who are having eye problems. I know I will try them.

Dan Zimmerman is a seasoned BPCR competitor and advised they will allow him to compete in lever action for another few years. Mark Sternglanze (sp?) says they are the cat's meow and is going to bring one to our regional to play with.
