Scope alternatives re weight?

Greetings all,

I need to find a scope that is about 16 oz to make weight. Based on what I understand people are using, the Leupold FX-3 25x40 appears to be the one to get. Are there any alternatives, since the FX-3 does not appear frequently on used market? Any other site to post a WTB add except this site?
