How many of you shoot a Bushnell 4200 series scopes. I just put mine back on my rifle while I get a bigger dot on my Leupold 24X. I forgot how much I like this scope. Good glass in my opinion, marked meters for smallbore silhouette on the objective.

Downfalls
Weight 20 oz
1/8 MOA click adjustments

The 4200's have great glass. Unfortunately, compared to leupolds:
They have only a fairly heavy duplex or a 1/8 dot reticle readily available.
The mini-turrets with 1/8 min. clicks kinda suck for the HP silhouette game.
There aren't as many after production options for them.(turrets, reticles)
Shorter eye relief.
On the heavy side.
Warranty service isn't as good as Leupold. Especially in Canuckstan.

The 4200's - 6-24 can come w/ 1/4 moa dot...

8-32 and the 6-24's can have either the 1/4 MOA or a 1/2 MOA dot installed for $55 through Bushnell....

Have 3 of 4 of the 8-32's and 2 of the 6-24's all with 1/4 moa dots...

Don't - target air rifle , high power rifle.... too many revs on the knobs and the focus stops at 300 yards.... Lower power = no bi deal, on 32... animals put a sweater on at infinty....

I have about 6 B&L/ Bushnell 6-24x's on my smallbore rifles. I have no complaints, great glass and they track well, also I like that they focus to 50ft with no adapters needed.
I do not use them on any highpower rifles due to the 1/8 min adjustments.

Still have the 4200's on my rifles. Will have to change the HP to something as the focus is not what I can accept. Might slap one of the Leupold 30X with 3/8 MOA dots....

I do change back and fourth between the 8-32's and the 6-24's for some reason.....

Chicken, do you know if Bush will put a dot in the 3200 series scopes. The person I talked to at customer service did not think they could but not a tech type person for sure. They also told me they couldnt put it in the 8-32 scope either.

For most of my Silhouette rifles I have either the 6.5x20 EFR or Premier boosted 14x40's EFR's.

For my springer air rifle (TX200) I use the Bushnell 4200 and for my 'Darkside' AZ Styer PCP I have a big Nikor sidewheel on it.
