What school are you attending? Look up in an English dictionary college and univeristy. Or google some colleges like the one I listed...I guess I should have said the queens english as she has been on the throne for a few years now.

Trying to get back to triggers, and stay out of the personal BS, I am glad you pointed out the Davies triggers, I was not familiar with them, and as Bob 259 stated, the Jackson triggers were designed in the UK and due to importation rules, the parts were manufactured in the UK, and assemble here in the States by X-treme Shooting products, the actual design was changed a couple of years ago, and I am not sure if the parts are now manufacture in the USA.
After looking at their web page, I see that they are not available with a safety, which will make them illegal for the Hunter class rifles.
I did not contact them yet, but do you know if they can ship directly to an individual, or to somebody with an import license ????
Evelio.

Didn't the update on the design of the Jackson triggers let them use the Remington safety? I haven't dug into it since I was told that, but I assumed that was why they didn't come with a safety anymore.

Edit: Quote from the website:

http://www.x-tremeshooting.com/index.ph ... trememod22
New with the Mod 22, we offer a solid trigger shoe with a safety for non-target shooting applications like tactical and hunting rifles. The Mod 22 has a new 2 position safety design. With a thinner profile, less stock inletting shoud be required, if any.

All the Jackson triggers are available with a safety, or the Rem. safety can be used on them. I was referring to the Davies triggers which specifies no safety available.

I know that they post direct to us but I'm not sure about the exporting side. I have one on my high power rifle and like it a lot. I did state in my post that they didn't have a safety. I wasn't having a crack at you and if you took it that way I am sorry. But as a dedicated shooter from another country, it sometimes seems like nobody thinks we exist.
It would be nice if some of the US shooters could travel to other places and as the Australian Chairman I'm always happy to extend an invitation to any competitors.
Also for some years there has been the Pacific Regional Shooting Championships and as a Pacific Nation it would be nice if the US sent some teams.

No offence at all, as a matter of fact, I am glad that you mention the Davies triggers, since I never heard of them. They most not be available in the US, I did ask yesterday about them to a bunch of other shooters, and none of them new anything about it.

Juddy, its really great when going to the Nationals to see people from other countries. In my long shooting carrier I have traveled three times to Canada and many times to Mexico to participate in shooting matches. I know other shooters that have traveled overseas to compete and they have done it on their own dime.
The sad thing is that the shooting organizations we belong to are very different to yours and their main concern is to defend our right to own and keep our fire arms so promoting shooting sports is not quite as important. You hear them giving recognition awards to the peace officers and legislators of the year which is not bad but would be nice if they also gave recognition awards to the shooting champions of the year.
In my state's rifle and pistol association if a Jr. wins the state match the shooting association would contribute $250 for that Jr. to go to the Nationals and I believe the NRA also waves the entry fees to their Nationals if a Jr. wins his state match but other than that there is no financial help for shooting teams to travel any where. I am only talking about silhouette shooting other shooting sports may be different but basically that is the reason we only hear of very few US shooters going any where else to shoot.

Back to the BS, I did enjoy meeting the Aussie team and having dinner at Ridgway, especially those funny looking cigarettes Dooga shared with me. I was able to get Greg to waive Baby Huey's entry fee as State Champion Jr from Florida even though he lost the forms. We would love to visit your country, but are you sure you are ready for His Hueyness? He loves vegamite. Here he is in action at the Royal in Ridgway.....

Exactly how do you ship a BH from the US to Australia? An airline seat seems like cruel and unusual punishment for him and his row mates.

This'll be my last comment about travel as we don't wish to hijack this post. Some things just lead to others.
I've heard that we may be able to send more teams in the future so look out for the invasion!!!

Juddy...bring them on, I am not sure they will be ready for some young Mexicans and the girls following the Hulk...he seems to be able to get into many places obviously your team mates never thought he could reach. Espeically when encouraged by fellow junior girls.
