Gotta ask...how close to SE Texas was that shop with RL-15? Did they have more??

The RL powders are heat sensitive. Watch close when it is hit out if you are loading near max.

Interestingly the military used RL15 in its 7.62 long range sniper round used in both Iraq and Afghanistan with no issue of heat sensitivity. The RL15 I use is from pulled LR sniper rounds. That ammo has been modified recently with a new powder that affords under 2% velocity variation in extreme temps ----Rl15 was at 2% between -15 below and 130F. If you're loading at presumed max...then be advised
