The true Frankenhunter is torn down so that the trigger guard and new rings can be anodized blue. I have the action screws sitting on my bench if you need them to fit the titanium screws. Might as well have the anodized blue to match everything else. I want it to look good before I sell it to you.

None of them come from critical areas.
just in case someone thinks I would actually take a part off, no. these are loose, laying around, that someone else removed, or fell off.
I bought them on line, and a few blanks.
Dustin, be nice or I will send your sister out to beat up on you some more.

Most likely, the metal (or at least the ore) came from the former Soviet Union. They have most of the world supply of the raw material. In fact, one of the great secrets of the Cold War involved a variety of front companies created for the purpose of buying Soviet titanium which was used in the construction of...the SR-71.CWS wrote:The scariest part is that the only places titanium screws are normally used are in either medical applications or to hold aircraft together... And while you're at it, don't forget to recess the holes for the center drilled titanium action screws so you can shorten them by, say 60%, and get the weight down a lot more.
