Alright guys, I did make a rookie mistake on the Rams with my Hunting Rifle the first shot was under the rail with a perfect break on the target. Sure enough I still had my turkey zero. The ram I rang with my 6.5 x 47 (using 142 SMK being pushed with 35 grains of Varget) cost me to loose a 10 in a row. This is a light load for Rams, my spotters will tell you they fall over in slow motion. I will be increasing the powder charge and searching for the magic 6.5 bullets that kill Rams effectively. Who makes the magic bullets? Note: the wire did not have any effect on the shooter and was not the cause for the lost ram.
