Re: On The Saddest Note
You Weenie. You have disappointed the 7mm Guru. You will not be wearing my turban at AZ.
Conditions were great. Six of us ignored the impending bad weather and showed up to shoot. Me and Bonner tied with 38 each and....just kidding. Conditions really sucked, I mean blew. I got there at 7:30 to west winds at 18-20 mph. After an hour here comes the other five guys. Winds increased to 25 out of the north, in your face. We put the swingers out rather than set up targets. Goodnight left 30 minutes after arriving never taking his rifle out of the case. He was muttering something about us being crazy and rather be home watching a game on TV. We each fired randomly on the swingers. Lee got a new .260 dialed in best he could. I fired 20 rds. of 160's from the Remchester, that's it. Did not want to wear down a match gun in these conditions. I some how managed to connect two out of five on each target. The wind was getting worse and it got colder so we picked up.
Scott, Dave and me got the range truck hooked up to mine and I towed it to the repair shop in Strasburg, no problems. Hit rain and snow before reaching Bennett. We will shoot plenty Friday at BA to make up for today.

You guys have more balls than me. I stayed inside where it was warm today. I think I may go out and shoot tomorrow though so that I can get a chicken zero since I swapped scopes.
Glad you guys got to hang out in the wind/snow! I'm sure the mechanic is going to love you when he climbs into that truck and all that mouse poop!
