Other than hardscrabblemountain and some other guy that Hammy is going to give me the number to. Are there any other silhouette vest makers.

Huey...Marco Sanchez, my ostrich vest is one of his. THere is a shooter at your club that has one of his other vests. He can make one in elephant if you want. If Hammy doesn't have his number I'll get it for you.
Sean...purple and closet gays???? Been a while since you have seen my boy then...far from a gay closet or not and purple is favorite color.

Like this ?
Oh well,
it could have been 'Pink' !
Or maybe even Pink and Purple, with hair to match !
(No disrespect to Coates, (He can wear any gay colour he likes !)
ciao 4 now,

Man, this thread exploded quick.
Mine was made by Jackie Chipman up in BC Canada. It's dark green with tobacco brown. It also has the metric left hand Canadian standard zipper. Chris is just south of the border, make sure this zipper malady has not migrated that far south. These are your colors Big Guy. I still get lots of stares when I am on the line.
You made that vest , Sean? Very nice. Do they use metric zippers in New Zealand , too?
Trent, show him that stinky grungy red one you bought off Goody.

Yup, both of them, colours, material, liners, design, with the help of an 'old school' harness maker. He is magic with leather.
I love the 'fluoro' orange canvas lining.
I had McMillan make me a 'fluoro' orange silhouette stock some years ago.
It stood out nicely in the gun rack !
The heavy one has a 'conventional' zip,
and the lightweight, what I call a ladies zip,
was the only one that was available in grey, from memory.
cheers,
SS
Ladies zippers ?
This explanation given to me;
"Men’s pants have right-handed zippers because most men are right handed."
"Women’s pants have left-handed zippers because most men are right handed."

HEY! It's not grungy! It is just getting broken in!!

I think after AZ in 2 weeks I may be able to sweat my own smell into it.
I don't know how long Goodnight used this vest, but it is old enough to have three straps instead of the standard two on today's vests. (The 3rd pair of straps are taped off to meet code)

Wow.

..you need to bling that poor old thing up. It looks worse than when I saw it yesterday at the range. There was a reason for that third strap.

Abused ? Better put it in your checked baggage. We dont need the plane held up for a bio hazard sweep if you try to carry it on.
CZFL,I think I paid two bones for it about 12 years ago. Four of us bought one at the same time and she gave us a bit of a discount. The exchange rate was much more favorable at the time.
Logical zipper explaination Sean.

Four of you bought one vest? Now that is cheap!
