Medic,

I would still suggest seeing what the possibilities are with Ernie's stock. It is very easy to move the barreled action from one stock to the other. You just bed the action to each stock and have a pair of screws for each one. Once you have things set up, it should take five minutes (with time left over) to make the silhouette rifle into your hog getter. Either way, enjoy yor new rifle.

Ernie and Briscoe,
I thought some more about your comments, and looked into it a little bit. I could get a B&C light Alaskan Hunter stock for $200, that would probably shave a pound if not more. I don't want to spend that money right now, but maybe after this season I will, then I could switch it for Silhouette, then back to the other for hunting. Thanks again.
