Hey Pat, will you send me an application. I will make the journey to Texas. Sounds like a good time. Even without the cheerleaders.

Thanks.

Greg Gudenburr, the President of Bayou Rifles asked if there would be any intrest in a 50yard, Benchrest Air Rifle match at the conclusion of the Texas Nationals? Right now, they have 4 concrete benches, and are gearing up for a smallbore benchrest rifle series. We don't have to decide now, but if anyone is interested, drop me a note. Also, if anyone else needs and entry form, please let me know. jpsteiger(at)earthlink.net. Motl said Elvis was coming.........He spoke to him last night!!!!

Also, thinking about an " I beat Larry Engle" Club. Might be a hat or shirt. Dunno yet.....

thanks

CO SB is the last weekend in Sept (CRC) and then AZ SB is the first week in Oct (Ben Avery) Both should be good matches if Mary shows up with the pom-poms and cheer leading dress. Wow........... I'm not sure if I am going to go.

Jerry G very few have seen me in a dress...and that was only about 6 weeks ago at a fellow competitors daughters wedding, I took control of the camera so if any pictures were taken, they were with cell phones.
September is wide open still, need to find out what is going on at work before I commit to anything that far out right now.

In case it entices a few more entries, I talked to the caterer and we're gonna have White Chili for lunch. Desert is TBD. Having sampled this stuff, it is ambrosia.

Can't wait. I'm leaving Tuesday. It's going to probably take two days for me to make it by myself. I get bored easily. I'm going to be staying with my Aunt in Hockley. Hopefully it won't be to bad of a drive back and forth to the range. C-yall soon.

Thanks everyone for coming out to our match this year. It is a ton of work to put them on and I have a ton of people to thank for the help.
The Bayou Rifles membership and staff really went out of their way to make us welcome and assist us in every way possible. The regular Wednesday night crew really did job making everything perfect and pretty. The "Caterer", Lori, did an outstanding job with lunch and getting it to and from the range. She came in under budget, with quality stuff, and set up and took down perfectly. Brad did a stellar job calling the match and kept the pace so we ate at lunch time and finished up before the rain, YES!!!!!!. Thanks for helping us take the targets down. I knew we were gonna get soaked and y'all stayed after and took the range apart in record time!! We did 3, 60 shot matches, with 2 relays, 50 minutes for lunch, awards and tom foolery, and still finished before 5pm. Everybody pitched in and we were moving!!!! Thank you. I appreciate your patience and indulgence with the awards. I hope no one was offended. Mark and Judy Ellis got us the plaques and certificates, and did a great job. I'm a tard puppy and I'll get the paperwork sorted here real soon and get the stuff I owe y'all out. I hope everyone has a safe journey home, and we'll see you next year. ^:)^

did anyone get a picture of Greg with his "hat" on?
