It is rumored that they also found pottery Chickens, Pigs, Turkeys and Rams in the caves with the Dead Sea Scrolls. Together with Catapults powered by cat gut, the animals are bigger than the NRA SB animals, about the size of IHMSA SB animals. So i guess Silhouette as we know it goes back even further than the early 1900's. Interesting if you look at the pictures in Time magazine the tent they have looks just like the roving tent of Pat Steiger's
Very good!!

Does that include the rare artifacts behind the trigger?

Response to previous slowstdy post : I read that same article! Interesting how they finally unlocked the secret meaning of the dead sea scrolls, they were argueing over the use of Hunting Catapults vs.Standard Catapults and how certain types of cat gut should be disallowed for the hunter class, funny how some things never change!

Looked in a desk drawer at work today and found a broken "duck"....Judging from the markings on the back I'm pretty sure I can date it to Paul Revere, who as we all know was a silhouette shooter and worked in cast iron as well as silver....and from this we can clearly see that it was broken by a revolutionary war musket shooting stingers.....Wonder what this'll bring on Ebay????

"Hunter catapult vs. Standard catapult...." Kinda makes one wonder how the Chin Catapult worked out for them. Now I'd pay to see footage of that one!

Chin-catapults worked about the same as the chin-bow, which was disallowed too. The French protested the heavy bow after losing the match to the English.

It was written in the dead sea scrolls that the inventor of the Chin-Catapult was some spartan named Sir G. David Tubb, he smoked everyone with it until it was dis-allowed, when that happened he got pissed and took his catapult home never to be seen again. Now every time anyone talks about dis-allowing some specialized catapult the guys that have them threaten to get pissed and go home. No one knows if there really serious,I have my doubts. :))
