Mr McAlice, I saw that beautiful rifle over in the marketplace and am having to call the bank and tell them to change my pin number so I cant take any money out. If by the grace of the shooting gods you still have the rifle after the 2nd of August I will be sending you a money order.

Shakes, to answer a little further your earlier question, The 243, 260, 7mm/08 cartridges are all necked down 308 winchester cartridges. this means that any of these rifles can be made from any other by changing the barrell. So yes it is possable to use a 243 and rebarrell it to 260. You can also buy actions and save your self the problems of geting rid of the stock etc.

I personaly would jump at the 260 for sale on the sale board, save a lot of time and energy building one, If I had the money I would have already bought it to make a scout rifle out of.
