Mark Pharr won the HP Standard rifle with a 34 and Agustin the Hunting rifle with a 33. It was unusually windy and the scores not quite as high as in SB but that is expected in HP most of the time. Agustin is not quite used to my HP rifles yet and only shot a pair of 33's to start.

Today's weather was much better than yesterday and the scores showed it. California's Jared Perry and Agustin Sanchez Jr. tied for MW with 35 in the Standard rifle match and Agustin won the shoot off hitting three turkeys to Jared's two. In the Hunting rifle match Agustin led the pack with 37.

The Hassayampa R&R club with Joy Cox, Jim Ross Jr and Agustin Sanchez Jr. won the Standard rifle team event and the California team that included Jared Perry, Chris Phiffer and Agustin Sanchez Jr. won the Hunting rifle.

You are most welcome Marvin, Agustin was not able to borrow the rifle you built for Modesto to win the previous four National Hunting Championships so he ended up borrowing mine.

Here is a link to the Ridgway newspaper for more detailed results of some of the matches. By the way this is the only place that I have been where every day the local newspaper covered the matches.
