Y'all should try AZ, week before last a guy had dual aircraft 50BMG's that he could only fire about 5 second bursts from so he didn't toast the barrels!
We have full auto and surpressed (and surpressed FA) at the range all the time, noone bats an eye.
To the OP, that sucks about your 54.18, I hope you can get the lunkheads to let loose of it. What ever happened to the burden of proof being with the accuser, not the accused (this disappears in cases of property, esp firearms, that are under suspicion).

However I managed to find some info on the Anschutz website as to how to date the rifle from the proof marks on the barrel. I talked to the ATF agent last night and forwarded the info to him. Hopefully this will be enough to establish proof that it is not the firearms they have listed. Even if it is enough for them he stated it will be at least a month before I can get the gun back. So much for practice before tha Nationals.
