I talked to Jerry yesterday. He will be awhile in recovering, but he plans to come to Zwolle to spot. He appreciates everyone's good wishes and prayers!

I spoke with Jerry earlier today and he is doing good. I was going to pick him up and let him ride with me to Cabelas in Gonzales. He just wasn't up to making that trip and said that he was taking things at a slow pace. I don't blame him at all.

I talked to Jerry on the phone yesterday 9/5/16. Jerry seemed to be in good spirits for what he is going through. Jerry said that he is not riding in a vehicle or doing anything that would destroy what the surgeons fixed. Just one odd hit like in another wreck or a fall would cause unrepairable damage at this time. He said that he is going to follow doctor's orders in every detail. Jerry said he will shoot silhouette again one day but that it will be a lengthy process to work his way back to that point.

Jerry and I went to my range and shot lever rifles all day today. He was mowing down targets. Three months after surgery he is doing incredibly well!
