7.2" center to center on the blocks. For most scopes at least.

For most scopes, 1 click will = 1/2 MOA, or 2 clicks to the minute, not that I like the term minute, but so it is.

Good luck

As Brent says is true. If you happen to have the 10.34" spacing, it will be 1 click will = 1/3 MOA or 3 clicks to the minute. FWIW.......

Silly question.... which is prefered for 22BPCR? Have a gun that was just barreled and may be putting blocks on it to go either way (scope or irons)

7.2!

Seriously, it probably depends on what your preferences are and maybe the length of your scope. However, 7.2 is the most common and easiest (for me at least). You may run out of elevation with 10.34" but I'm not sure about that.

That is the answer I am looking for. I'll take less adjustment for more range. Thanks!

If I may add one more thing. I use the "C" height rear block on my DZ scope set at 7.25. Don't have to crank on it so much and doesn't bottom out to get down to chickens. Guess I am lazy about turn the mount to get my settings.

Hello ALL ,
Some may NOT know that standard spacing for on the barrel
UNERTL blocks is 7.2 inches in order to get 1/4 minute clicks from UNERTL scopes at 100 yards !
LONGER than 7.2 inches will yield SMALLER than 1/4 minute clicks ...
14.4 inch spacing should THEREFORE yield 1/8 minute clicks at 100 yds .
something to CONSIDER

From the DZ instruction sheet.
1.DZ Arms 8x NRA Approved Malcolm Style Scope, 20 inch length
2.DZ Arms Unertl style (Posa style) mounts 1.Mounted at 7.2” 1/2 minute per line (.001”) will give you 200 minutes of elevation
3.Pope Rib
4.2 scope-mounting bases
Your results may vary with the scope you use.
