Does anyone remember the Thomasville sport shooters club?
Does anyone here remember the Thomasville sport shooters club in Thomasville Ga?
What happened to it?
I used to shoot there in the late 80s. They shot hunters pistol and of course smallbore rifle silhouette.
Just reminiscing about good days past.

The club I shot with was from Live Oak Fl.
Several of us would go shoot at Thomasville.
One of the regulars there was a Lee Stuckey,
Haven't heard from him in28 or 30 years.
Good friend and great guy.

Just heard back from family in Thomasville. . .
"The county is building a nice new range, but haven't heard anything lately about the old range, nor what all they will shoot at the new one."
Sorry, no help. Maybe that will allow time for more practice so that when they do open up, you can go up there and whip some butts!!
That is if they hold Silhouette Matches!!
Good Luck and Good Shooting,

Thanks
If they don't shoot steel critters they should,
I don't know about no but whipping,
I'm old and fat, I figure it will be a successful match if I make it down to reset targets
3 or 4 times

I remember them with State and Regional matches in the late '80's when Hunter Pistol was in it's own and then dropped out of sight as the '90's came around and the clubs in Thomasville, Manchester, GA, Valley AL, Callaway, Milledgeville, Riverbend, Warm Springs, Jacksonville, Central FL, Hover, AL, Pinson, AL, Chattanooga and others simply ceased to be there for HP & SBHP. Go figger !
