EABCo 97D Rifle for Silhouette?

Hello group,

Do any of you know why it is that the falling block action BF pistols are so popular and have such a following for pistol silhouette, but the 97D rifles with the falling block action do not seem to get mentioned in the HP Rifle silhouette world?

Just curious. Have any of you ever shot or owned a 97 D, and if so, have you got any impressions of it's accuracy and potential for use in HP Rifle Sil.? Would a 97D not make weight? I see they offer it in 6.5mm BRM and 7mm BRM, which look like they have decent ballistics and use good bullets for the game. Are these calibers legal for HP use? Again, just curious.
