Smallbore Silhouette Pistols
I have a soft spot for Eastern Euro-handguns. There's something very utilitarian about them... Anyhow, I was finally able to get my hands on a few of the CZ Drulov's. I had to import 2 of them (18 month effort...) and the other was a long networking ordeal to find someone who had one...
Anyhow, I'm just showing off my pic... They have cocking levers, a button trigger and are twist-locked at the breech end. Very simple, robust little shooting irons.

The barrels are 9 3/4" and in the end, my imported models ended up costing something like $30 shipping, $15 import broker fee, $20 FAET tax each. Drulov's have been pseudo-available since the early '80s or so, but they're never been brought in by a distributor (that I know of) - not enough of a market I would guess. Used to be pretty simple to get one in the early days, just send in a Form 6 with your FFL and bang - it was approved. Now days, you have to fight the gov't incompetency... takes patience...

Lost my WI-Fi signal awhile ago so will send this again. For Mordecai, Jason, and Papabear, the NRA Silhouette Dept ruled the Drulov target pistols to be "bolt action" and therefore not legal in NRA Hunters Pistol Silhouette. They can only be used in disciplines that allow bolt action pistols.

Where to find them? Lord, you have to scour the internet and ask around. You see about 1-2 show up on the auction-boards each year. You can also find them on gun-store websites outside the US if you want to import them (especially Australia).
You can always use one of these in the mean time - probably easier to cobble together, and just as much of a conversation piece!

As for beating me in Missoula, I'm coming prepared this year with a stock that fits and ammo with powder in it. HAHAHAHAHA
