More expensive to feed, but worth it.

mm-31 just a thought,

the comb hight is only part of the wooster/pharr advantage, the max drop at heel along with the max comb height is what makes them so stable. with a highish scope mount you will need to have the toe way up on your shoulder. like the A2 you mentioned,a nd the other longrange hunter stock.

before you lay down some green, you should try a few shots with a pharr or wooster. i believe Mark Pharrs site is tumbleweed rifles or some such thing. if you dont see any on the HP range you are sure to find one at a smallbore match.

the only reason i dont have a pharr is cause my wife wont let me :(

try and enjoy the bumps of being new, you will only have the chance for a little while.
