CRC HP monthly match.
Again , eight shooters were at our monthly match. This was the last chance for few of us to "tune up" before heading to St. Louis. It was a warm day at 93 with 8 to 10 mph winds blowing out of the west with a few gusts higher, then switching to out of the north. Certainly not the worst winds we have shot in but annoying just the same. The scores reflect the conditions, but a couple of shooters turned in decent numbers.
The top three scores for standard rifle : Dave B...21.....Bob M...20.....Ed P...15 after winning a shootoff with Trent.
Hunter rifle : Dave B...26.....Jim T...22......Kevin K...20
Our state match will be held on Sept.11th & 12th 2010

You are going to have to put your running shoes on to catch me from now on Bob!
Thank you a ton for letting me use your Remchester! It is actually a beautiful rifle that fits nicely. One thing is for sure, no one can ever accuse you of mistreating your firearms. The wood on that thing looks like it just came out of the box! It even makes me look good!

Although, I am going to have to blame the fact that I lost my shootoff with Ed on your rifle. Either that or it was because I got nervous after watching Ed bang away at the Rams all day.

Your welcome Trent. Anytime. I will get even for that sneak attack you pulled. How is your shoulder after firing 90 rds. of 160's without a vest?

Feels pretty good actually. Only a few "stretch marks" on my shoulder. I was eyeballing you guys in your vests at the end though. I think my cheek was a little tender from having my face squished down on the stock to get in line with the scope because of my long neck.
I need a gun and a scope before I worry about a vest though. And reloading equipment.
And a better trigger pull.
